Playing Cards

First off, why do we own 10 decks of cards!!!

Leo and I started off with 2 decks 8 years ago. Our first few dates were a meet up at the local Barnes and Noble to play Hand, Hen, Rummy, Gin Rummy…whatever you want to call it. In the Mid East, we call it Hand or Hen…depending on your dialect. So many versions. It’s a big deal in the Middle East. Winner is King (or Queen) and lives as one for days until the next round.

Things we did with playing cards today:

  1. Played Solitaire
  2. Encouraged the little ones to organize their decks by suite, color, shapes, etc.
  3. Go Fish
  4. Basra (also a Mid East game)
  5. Poker
  6. Black Jack
  7. War

What card games do you play?
